The band google group is no longer being used as a communications device for the band!
Please use charms as soon as possible. It is VERY EASY!!
Charms is the office assistant/data management system the Langley bands are
now using. There are a LOT of ways in which it will help us make the
administrative end of the band program more effective and efficient, but we’re
starting with just implementing the communication part of it. But that only works
if you go on and create a profile!
Here’s what you need to do:
Scroll over ENTER
Select Parents/Students/Members
The school code is: LangleyHSBand. Click Enter.
Your password is your student ID #. Click Enter.
The home page pops up. (And you can now see some of the other cool
things we’ll be able to do with this program!) Click Update Info.
Add all physical addresses, emails, and phone numbers for student and
parent(s). (All the other stuff we will either add later or is not relevant.)
Whatever email addresses you put in will be the addresses which receive
band communication from now on – we will stop using the Google group
very soon. You may also change your password if you wish.
That’s it! Should take 5 minutes, tops…and you only have to do it once, ever. (It
copies into next school year – even copies for younger siblings!) Thanks!
