BREAKING NEWS!!!

The Langley HS Wind Symphony and Symphony Band have been invited to perform at Avery Fisher Hall in LINCOLN CENTER in New York City in March 2011! Very few HS ensembles are invited to perform in the DCINY Concert Series in Lincoln Center.  Congratulations to the Langley Bands on this MAJOR Announcement and Accomplishment!  ** Itinerary and Payment schedule now posted in the "Performance Tour" area. +++Please notice NEW Tour Dates.

2010-2011 Calendar Now Posted

Please check the calendar for dates/commitments.  Please remember all rehearsals (and band camp) are mandatory and a part of the band and percussion courses.  Students must be at all rehearsals and performances.  Please make the necessary changes/additions to your personal calendars so that conflicts do not occur.  Please also take some time to read over the band policies as well as attendance policies.  There are some purchases needed for rehearsals and the school year, so please take some time to secure them today.  

***PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT 2011 BAND CAMP DATES ARE NOW POSTED ON THE CALENDAR IN AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER.

Congratulations - Langley record!!

Congratulations to LHS Wind Symphony and Percussion Ensemble Students for achieving a record number for Langley HS in the District 12 All District Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. – The students competed with over 700 students from District 12 for one of the only 150 available spots for the entire District

Band Calendar-UPDATED

Continue to check the Band Calendar for required rehearsals, performances and events.
Calendar has been updated to include mandatory rehearsals for all bands in June prior to the Spring Concert.

2010 Marching Band Camp - for all band/percussion classes - is now posted!
